Physical and mental health are essential for well-being and have a direct impact on quality of life and the

 development of society. The modern work environment, characterized by constant pressures and multiple

 demands, requires a detailed analysis of psychosocial risk factors. The objective of the research is to analyze

 how professors at the Center for Applied Social Sciences of the Federal University of Cariri – UFCA experience

 and interpret psychosocial risk factors in their work activities. The research is characterized as descriptive and

 adopts a qualitative approach. The method used consists of a case study, with the Center for Applied Social

 Sciences of the institution as the locus. Data collection will occur through field research, using the 

Copenhagen Psychosocial Questionnaire (COPSOQ), a validated questionnaire. The medium version of 

this questionnaire, which covers five dimensions, will be administered, consisting of 76 questions and using 

the Likert scale. Data analysis will be conducted using the content analysis technique. The study will indicate

 possible interventions, such as institutional support strategies and prevention programs, and will open 

possibilities for new studies on psychosocial factors in academic teaching.
